John Hopkins has a passion for sport and, whenever possible, will combine sport with his main love of photography. He has been watching Warrington Town AFC since moving to Warrington, some 9 years ago and has now become their official photographer, supplying the club, Warrington Worldwide, Warrington Guardian and South Warrington News.

Although John captures the action on the pitch, there is always further action among the crowd.  Warrington Town have a band of loyal supporters who follow the team to all matches whatever the weather.  ‘The Barmy Army’

 
   
  Warrington Town have a Youth team that has done well this year. On Sunday 6th May they took part in a cup final match against the in-form FC United of Manchester. FCUM had already won the league and 3 cups this year but were convincingly beaten 4-1
